The Brotherhood of St. Andrew
The Brotherhood of Saint Andrew, whose mission it is to usher men and boys unto a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as lord and savior, envisions to become the leading men's ministry in the Episcopal church and the worldwide Anglican communion with God's help. Our monthly Bible study, "Faith in the Workplace" will be held on the 17th of May at 7:30 a.m. in Moore Hall. Our next meeting will be on the 8th of May at 5:30 p.m. in Moore Hall. Please join us for a light supper, fellowship and discussion. We follow the three disciplines set forth by the Worldwide Brotherhood of St. Andrew: THE DISCIPLINE OF PRAYER is to pray daily for the spread of Christ's kingdom, especially among men and youth, and for God's blessings upon the labors of the Brotherhood. THE DISCIPLINE OF STUDY is to study the Holy Scriptures regularly and the teachings of the Church, to attain a better understanding of how to follow Christ and bring others into his kingdom. THE DISCIPLINE OF SERVICE is to make continuous efforts, week by week, to bring others nearer to Christ through his Church The St. James chapter of the Brotherhood meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month in Moore Hall at 5:30 p.m. if you would like to contact a member of the Brotherhood please e-mail bosa@stjameschurchclovis.org. |
